What is family dentistry?
Family and kids dentistry focuses on providing dental care for every member of the family. This allows dentists to provide personalized care for patients, no matter their age.
Since family dentists specialize in care for individuals from infancy through adulthood, many people maintain a relationship with their dentist throughout their entire life.
What services do children and family dentists offer?
Family dentists offer a wide range of services so that every individual can receive the dental care they require.
This includes a range of preventative, restorative, and cosmetic care, such as: check-ups, root canals, fillings, invisalign, crowns, implants and dentures, anti-aging dentistry, and emergency dentistry, among others.
What are the advantages of going to a family and cosmetic dentist?
Not all dentists are well-equipped to provide dental care to individuals of all ages. This is especially important for kids, as they are more prone to develop dental anxiety and trauma from unpleasant dental visits.
Dr. Rahman and his team love making the dental visit fun for our young patients so we can build positive memories for years to come. By offering a fun and kid-friendly environment, your kids (and you) can have a more relaxing experience.
What measures does Frisco Dental Studio take to make their office kid-friendly?
Dr. Rahman is a parent so when he designed his office he knew he wanted a space dedicated for kids. Our kid’s lounge has video games, toys and books to keep our little guests busy while siblings and parents are seeing the dentist.
Dr. Rahman has mastered the art of making dental visits fun for kids. We play games and sing silly songs when doing our check ups. We use a special numbing jelly and tricks to make teeth fall asleep without any pain or scary needles. We use laughing gas to help relax our patients so our kids can giggle away during their appointment. We also know when to refer to our pediatric specialty friends if a kiddo has needs we just can’t take care of in a comfortable manner. Our goal is to create fun memories, educate our kids and build great dental habits.

We know how important it is to make your little ones feel comfortable during their dental appointment. That’s why we focus on creating a fun and inviting environment so that dentist appointments are no longer something that your children fear.

“My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Rahman for years. We started our journey when he used to work in Rowlett, then followed him to McKinney and Aubrey. We are so excited to hear that he is finally opening his own practice in Frisco.
He has done multiple root canals and crowns on me and did an implant for my husband. We have both been amazed at how comfortable we have been through all our procedures.”
– Teressa A.
“I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Rahman for almost an entire year as he helped fix my upper and lower teeth after I had an accident and caused a lot of trauma. It was a long journey but I am so glad I put my trust in someone who was not only skilled but kind and caring.
Our family has kept in touch with him over the years and we are looking forward to his new office being closer to our home.”
– Nguyen T.
“I have been scared of the dentist my whole life. When I met Dr. Rahman 3 years ago, my mouth was a mess. I had avoided going to the dentist for years and was dreading my first visit. I still remember the first thing he said to me was, “It’s a judgement free space” and that we would start our dental journey at a pace that I was comfortable with. I never once felt pressured or judged. It took about 8 months for us to get my gums and teeth fixed up and we have been coming to him ever since.”
