Dr. Rahman has spent years learning about techniques to minimize post op discomfort from the numbing and the filling procedure. If there is any post op sensitivity, it is usually mild and goes away within a few weeks; if it doesn’t, you should contact your dentist.
How long does a dental filling procedure take?
The average time for a dental filling is between 30 minutes and an hour, although the time may vary depending on the severity of the cavity.
If the patient needs multiple fillings, the dentist may treat them over multiple visits.
